A very interesting and challenging question.
I can think of people whose wickedness baffles me (such as Hitler) and people whose goodness I admire.
Perhaps my initial reaction would be Jesus Christ but there are other people with whom I would love to have the opportunity to discuss many aspects of life.

One of the USA founding fathers, maybe Thomas Jefferson, just to get to the truth of the present day arguments about what they intended when they wrote the Constitution and how they saw it affecting future generations.

I can't think of any historical character who could offer enlightenment in an afternoon. Possibly someone I've know well in the past who could answer questions about the afterlife. or Maybe some of you guys ... all if possible. That should make for a nice day in the park.

i would be spoilt for choice but the following four were well educated and independent thinkers Peter the Great would be one.. Catherine of Arragon.. Elizabeth the 1st Henry the 8th
and of course Mohammid would be high up on my list..now that would make for an interest8ing afternoon chat
