Colder than it has been this morning and just now starting to get daylight. We have two out of town jobs and hope to be back around lunch time.
See you later.

For the last week or so I've been decorating - no, not soft cushions... Everything's piled up and moved around. Still have the front windows to do and the floor has to be sanded down are those shutters I see by the window...we used to have them at home and would use them in the winter..they made a great difference to the warmth in the rooms I had one made in this house for the bathroom..really keeps the warmth in wanted them for the other rooms too..but the chappie who made the BR one died and haven't come across any one else to do those sorts of jobs decorating is ok once its all done and everything is back to normal...carry on the good work They're Venetian blinds, mouse. Fairly chunk - from IKEA, I think.

I should be sleeping but was wide awake at 4:30am, so after a futile attempt to go back to sleep, I got up and put all the fixins into the crockpot for pea soup.

parakeet was out of cage about two hours after escaping...it finally dawned kn me to use pillowcase over him when he came in the open and it worked....next week is wong clipping.
I had quit chasing and couldn't find him so sat on couch to hear when he would answer the other ones calls...it worked and he is munching on a millet spray

My mom put the cage in our sunroom and, once a day, let them out for their exercise time. She left the cage door open, and they always flew back in when they were tired or wanted to eat.

He is minus a few tailfeathers but otherwise fine, lost the feathers in the bedroom....he came to the area I was sitting by the kitchen and didn't put up a fight when I put the pillowcase over him to capture him.
