I don't think that trusty kind of source is Breitbart or The Daily Mail. Breitbart is a propaganda rag and TDM is a tabloid. what reliable news sources do you recommend? I hope everybody puts up some kind of suggestion. I'll say NPR, who goes with being honest even when they hurt themselves in the process. In second place, I'll say C-Span.

Kronks dear, this is also about hacking at one of our power companies. It is not all about p[olitics. its all politics...hacking into a power company is as much politics as hacking into the white house or pentagon...its all politically based...when done by one country on another the only time its not politics is when its some one like the autistic young man of ours who hacked into the Pentagon simply because he could..it was a challenge to him not politics hacking is a way of finding the opposite sides weakness and exploiting them or finding the security weak spots for further use down the line its all politics,.simply a new type of battle and what would leave a country most vunerable...lack of utilities for the populations ...water..sanitation ..energy Didn't that tunubs-down option come in yet? We should give them call. It's been requested forever.

Kronks dear, this is also about hacking at one of our power companies. It is not all about p[olitics. Well whatever it is about, blaming the hacker is not the right approach, such systems should not be open to hacking, the fact they are is the real issue. They should be point fingers are the power companies, not the Russians or anyone else same ghoes for Hillary's email server. The problem is with Hilary and the security of her system. Let's face it sanctioning Russia or jailing some autistic kid is not going to make US systems anymore secure. If anything it gives a false sense of security. The problem is with the systems themselves. I mean looks at Microsoft sos may securiyty updates ibecasue it has more holes in it than a culender. On top of tha government want to make systems insecure so they can hack into them, which is insane as if they can hack into it so can anyone else!

It disappeared during the night. The install was very smooth, weird. Hope it was them and not my computer.

what reliable news sources do you recommend? I find this again and again. Right-wingers routinely diss anything from left-wing or liberal sources (no matter how indisputable the FACTS may be) and left-wingers do the same with anything from right-wing or centrist sources. It's very tiresome; of course we all have different opinions but when a fact is a fact it doesn't matter a bit where it comes from. that is the way I look at it too..i don't care where the news comes from....as long as its factual..any spin can soon be discarded..as long as the basics are true..that is all that matters regardless of the subject

I think it best to deliberately look neither left right or central...but to look at news from ALL sources for example..if there is a terrorist attack..then ALL the papers will have the basic information as will ALL the media ...time/place/deaths/means etc but if I want the names and backgrounds of the terrorists then it would be pointless looking at the BBC or Guardian for that information..same goes for information on the EU the BBC prefers to target ALL Asians rather than use the term islam or muslim..and it also prefers to use the terminology of right wing on any one who objects to being blown up or questions the levels of immigration or migrancy and the term right wing to stigmatise individuals or groups who are against the EU
if I want more background information on the real questions and news of the day then I would go to..sky..al jeezerah..the Telegraph and one or two of the continental papers
if I want even more detail then I would go to the Mail and other tabloids..they run the stories some others prefer to gloss over..such as the real impacts of items in the news on the people who have to live with the results of bad iseas..whether its flooding caused by the EU..immigration or EU policies in general or the idiots guide to PC or health and safety
