MEP and former TV presenter Nikolay Barekov proposes the deportation of the Roma to India. "Once they have been refused citizenship by the Bulgarian state, they can be transported by large passenger liners directly to Delhi and their real homeland," he said.

Barekov congratulated ex-Prime-Minister Boyko Borisov for showing concern on the issue of illegal migration. Reminding him that three years ago he put this topic on the agenda, Barekov said that it was "better late than never."
He is firm that all Syrian refugees should be flown straight back there.
"If I had been prime minister three years ago, by now we would have border fences built by the army, and would have flown the Afghans and Gypsies back to their homelands," said the MEP.
