theres a lot of stories going around of this happening...personally I would give them a bacon butty and want to know their opinions on such things as treatment of women and freedom of women..many ways to trip them up
so easy to visually convert for a small while....come back in a few years and lets see the results of converions....convienient opportunism...or am I being too cynical

Maybe, just right cynical. It's easy to claim any number ol things. OTOH, aren't they running a risk of being punished by the radicals? |

Well, yes, Beth. If these were genuine conversions (and I personally have a friend who converted to Christianity from Islam) they would run a risk from the extremists.
And frankly I think because of that fear the majority of these conversions are genuine.
As for treatment of women and so on, Lord I get so sick of people trying to confuse cultural bigotry with religious beliefs.

It would take a lot of nerve for a Muslim to convert to Christianity even in England or the U. S. I would think. It's totally amazing they would do it within the Muslim countries. |
