mouse The article itself says that "The area now has the lowest white population in London." and is emphasising the decline in white faces. Every article I've read from that website seems to be anti-those not from the UK, and especially those who are not white. Seems like outright racism to me. yes its racism but a different type of racism....tell me what is thrillin g about parts of a capital city where is own nationals either no longer exist or are a minority...exactly what does that achieve ?? one could easily make it about Peterbrough..only difference is the colour of skin..in Peterbrough its a white invasion as fro cries of racism they no longer have any effect the word racism has been done to death what is wrong with not wanting parts of ones country taken over by people who wont fit in..dont even like their hosts..all they like are the benefits...you really would have tp come from another planet not to see that take overs improve nothing...and the problems in that particular area of London are down entirely to incommers..that is a fact that no one can deny ...and whilst the powers that be managed to get rid of the Mayor and his thugs...the area is still very grim when people emigrate into another country its usually for betterment...not to recreate the pit which they left behind but I really want to know why comenting on this situation is racist ???how can commenting on a truth transform into racism ? especially when its not the colour of skin which is important..the real importance is the mindset the importation of an alien culture which clashes head on..a culture aspects of which have no place in this country

Just because the kids can't speak English on day one, we shouldn't assume that their parents are not highly-skilled and don't have good language skills. If their parents are well-educated, it's not unreasonable to think that they'll support their kids' education. The kids will no doubt fail educationally when they're not supported by their parents. It's their parents' attitude that can make or break their success. They know that the working language in the school is English. If they don't think it's important then there's nothing the school can do. You can't lay the blame at the school's door for poor exam results. The article seems like another cheap shot at immigrants to stoke up some anti-foreigner feelings. It's telling that there's a quote "it's like Baghdad". A quick Google search tells me it's unlikely that there are many Iraqis in Newham. Poor old east London, no longer "white" English. we don't need to make cheap shots at immigrants....the real stories based on facts are enough to tell the storys without ANY cheap shots..and when truth is seen as cheap shots then there really is a big big problem Europe has a huge huge problem and it gets worse with every influx....there a great concerns in every country...their parents being skilled is no bases because so often those skills are not transferable into the countries they have landed in... and you must be aware of the lies and the agendas of people not being who they say they are the German government so worried and fearful put a ban on media reporting..and over new year there were the lies and false reportings and denial of facts right around Europe..and the orders came from the top we are not in a good place right now...and its not going to improve any time soon 90% OF LAST YEARS MIGRANTS WERE YOUNG SINGLE MALES..not Syrians and not threatened and certainly not refugees..chancers and blaggers who should have been sent back from where they came.. Sometimes it is impossibole to change the parents. Sometimes it is necessary to start with the children and bring them into the culture in ways that will last a lifetime. The problem you must deal with in the U; K. and Europe is that the parents do not want their children brought into the western way of life. If they are determined to keep their own culture, it follows they probably should not immigrate to other countried. There should be rules in place and known to them before they cross the borders. Jessie..i think we touched on the problems of migrant families when discussing the followers of isis leaving to fight in Syria...when what became apparent was that the parents many times had no idea what the children were doing meeting etc or accessing on the computers...the big cry was that they had been groomed...but what really came out was that there was no communication between the two generations and one biggy was that the mothers in particular could not converse..a/they didn't understand English b/their children had begun to lose their ancestral language and the communications gap just widened...plus the mothers were isolated in their communities having very little or no contact with their adopted country and its people..they lived shopped and socialised within very narrow boundries and even the TV was geared to non western tv..and so western life and its nuances were qite alien given they could live in a bubble..plus for the children its a very uneasy duality...frredom to choose on one side..obeying the normality of parents on the other
personally I think much more needs to be done before citizenship is doled out..rather than assuming it will all sort its self out as off spring become more westernised... compulsary lessons for ALL the family members on what living in the west is really about..that freedom is not licence..that tollorance is a two way street...and that the greater good takes precedence...and disabuse many of the preconceptions wich litter da community are just that conceptions rather than reality...and that you don't understand a country or a people until you understand the unspoken gestures body language and nuances we can no longer assume that those coming to our countries want our ways of life...want freedoms and choices we now know the realities are what so many want are the goodies we have and for many that equals freebies from housing medical education and monies meaning they can live quite comfortably on what the state pays out in benefits...all that and for nothing in return remembering the title of the thread is Londonistan...if you get my drift
