Sports personality of the year

The sports personality of the year is coming up soon and Tyson Fury (among others) has been nominated (rightly) for taking the world heavyweight crown from the 'unbeatable' Klitscho against all the odds.

Trouble is, Tyson has a lot of strikes against him. He's a Traveller but (like most Romanies and Travellers) he has politically incorrect views on the place of women and whether or not homosexuality is moral or not.

Now as it happens I don't agree with a lot of what he says BUT - this is supposed to be about SPORTING excellence and on that front he's totally entitled,

My gut feeling is Andy Murray will win it but all the clowns trying to remove Tyson from the list of nominations make me sick.

Christ, what have his political and social views got to do with anything? Give the mush his chance!

And (to use a Romanes expression) 'te aven baxtale, Tyson.'

I really do not care that he is a traveler he can be bright blue with pink spots
the sports personality is supposed to be given to the man or women who has been the personality ...the award based on their sporting achievements and nothing else
I don't see what his personal views have to do with his sporting poweress

I really am sick to the back teeth of all this stupid nonsence...towards this man and the same with Trump....and those eager to deny him access into the country..
can the fools hopping up and down with what they determin is righteous angst...are they so thick and stoooopid they cannot see the road they are taking us down
so wrapped up in their determination to remove opinion different than their own they make it increasingly easy to gag us all
