How would you interpret the expression 'blood coming out of her eyes' as expressed by Donald Trump?
I see it as meaning: when a person is blood thirsty in the way that they behave when they are determined to go after another person in order to bring them down in some way.The journalist didn't like what Donald Trump thought of women. In Australian slang, she was 'spitting chips'

all would depend on the context... but its a saying I have never heard of before... but cannot see how it translates into blood thirsty had he said she smelt blood..which is a description of some one going in for a verbal kill I would have understood but blood coming out of her eyes would indicate evil to me there was once a poster of tony blair with blood red eyes..we all knew it was supposed to indicate him as demonic

I have never heard it either, but to me it means she was going 'after his blood' which means she was 'gunning for him' which also means she was enraged and intended to' let him have it with both barrels' she was definitely going to make' mince meat' of him, But it is plain to see that she was 'spitting chips' and ' going in for the kill.' that's for sure.!!!
