when is it going to dawn on society that most behaviour problems start in the home [there are a few exceptions ie brain damage etc] what is wrong with people that they let their children ride roughshod over them and the poor souls who then have to deal with them in the class room...words fail

Parents have a duty to bring their kids up right and to instil discipline and values into them.
I despair sometimes at the utter inability of some 'parents' to do their job!

thank the morons who made discipline a dirty word..thank the no smacking brigade...because those who would have assaulted their children still will and do and those who would have given a short sharp slap have stopped disciplining their children all together but a look at the mother and a look at the children speaks volumes...neither she or the children are overly happy we all need boundries even children if they are to grow up half civilised

watched the program..it was very interesting...but didn't show the family quoted above one boy was Asbergers...so at least there was a reason...and it wasn't bad or wrong parenting..i felt as sorry for the boy as I did the family...eventually they got some help the other case was more straight forward..not bad parenting so much as non understanding parenting..they too got help....
it will be on again next week...[not quite quite what the trailer for the program had suggested]
