What is a Safari lunch?
So glad you're out and about, feeling better.
It was 30 degrees F when I got up this morning. I talked on the phone with a friend 50 miles to the east of us and they were having snow. "Big fluffy flakes" she said.
I am baking today and keeping my granddaughter company. The new Vanity Fair is here with Angelina on the cover. Looks to have several interesting articles and the perfume sample is wonderful.

Long work day. my break starts next Wednesday so I'm not going to complain.
Need to go find a cup of hot tea or coffee ... whichever is handier. Be back in a few.
Fret's in his Thursday evening meeting so probably won't be back in until tomorrow.
Hope everyone's had a good week and ready for Friday. Seems to me this week has flown.

Off to have dinner. In regard to the new Topic - "Which Would You Rather/:" in Chat and Play .. it's very informal. Scroll up to vote in the mini-poll or down, to leave a comment. New polls can start any time .. if fact I believe that one is set so anyone (staff or registered member) can add the poll. Just remember, it's to be only 2 choices. Vote on them and before long, we'll have a good idea of what our virtual community is like ... what kind of mix we are.

Safari lunch sounds very nice. I believe that is hed here but can't remember what it's called. Your's last year sounds excellent. Hope you are treated to something as nice.
It is sunny but cold here and will be like this for a few more days. Looking forward to Indian Summer. I have started to think the birds have picked up and gone south without all the usual a-massing and noise.
A quiet day today.

Sugi, I love this one. Thank you. If I ever have another Tuxedo I'm going to name him Dominio.

I love that one, too, Jessie. 3 more days and Wednesday evening, my furlough will begin and last until after the first of the year. No exact date yet but probably between the middle and end of January. Whatever it will take me into spring for my first break of next year. It isn't that I don't enjoy my work but I have other things I'd like to do and time is a big factor. One of those things is finding a way to locate the people who would enjoy Gates of Babylon and let them know where to find us. No perfect plan yet but I'm working on it.

Thank you Beth it was a lovely meal.
Good morning everyone. Be glad when the G20 is over helicopters flying over head and it is a hot day. Be outside watering the plants and that is about it.
