British values are holding strong. Although other policies are abandoned and fall by the wayside every day, Michael’s Gove’s concept of teaching British values in schools has been carried on by Education Secretary Nicky Morgan, who told MPs that "we must not be shy about talking about fundamental British values".
These values are still somewhat vague - while mutual respect, democracy and tolerance are all expected to feature strongly, the details are unclear.

Well, you're definitely British, but it doesn't sound like you've read the Magna Carta any time in the past year - if at all. Perhaps you're one of those new fangled Brits and part of the younger generation. As such, expect your values to be treated skeptically until you get older and become the status quo. By which point, you can treat everyone else's values skeptically.

...however I have only one item of tweed...and comic figure or no..am very comfortable in my own skin....having won the lottery of life by being born English and while being a non believer am quite certain that god is not only a woman but also an English woman......
