Think of any three-digit number; then select the corresponding buzzword from each column. For instance, number 257 produces ``systematized logistical projection'', a phrase that can be dropped into virtually any report with that ring of decisive knowledgeable authority. No one will have the remotest idea of what you're talking about, but the important thing is that they are not about to admit it. Column 1 | Column 2 | Column 3 |
---|
1 integrated | 1 managerial | 1 options | 2 heuristic | 2 organisational | 2 flexibility | 3 systematized | 3 monitored | 3 capability | 4 parallel | 4 reciprocal | 4 mobility | 5 functional | 5 digital | programming | 6 responsive | 6 logistical | 6 scenatios | 7 optional | 7 transitional | 7 time-phase | 8 synchronized | 8 incremental | 8 projection | 9 compatible | 9 third-generation | 9 hardware | 10 futuristic | 10 policy | 10 contingency |
Here's a clip from the Grauniad and a reply... "Men and women usually have different basic needs in response and recovery periods. These are highly context-specific, as disasters tend to exacerbate pre-existing gender inequalities, which vary from community to community."Obviously they need a (373) systematised transitional capability.

Indispensable on the job, I have no doubt. Filing it away to put to good use.

Eh... 257 gives "heuristic digital time-phase," doesn't it...? Is this another famous Guardian typo?

Eh... 257 gives "heuristic digital time-phase," doesn't it...? Is this another famous Guardian typo? Throw another number if you don't like it. You have parallel reciprocal options
