Grey and rainy here today, too.
A loud clap of thunder woke me earlier. Very wet and the outdoors isn't very inviting.

It's been a slow day. L'il daughter and I are going out to finish up the prom dress fittings tomorrow. That's always fun. She had considered getting a short dress this year, but it's her senior year so we decided on something more traditional and special. It's pink. Still overcast but the rain seems to be over. Fret's service is back so there's more sunshine in here than RT. Get ready for the weekend. Plan for a good'un and it'll probably happen.

Good morning everyone. Can't believe it is Friday already. The weeks are getting faster. Exercise classes this morning then some time outside in the garden. Enjoy your day.

I read about your dust and smog. Do you get that very much or does it depend on how the wind blows?
Windy but sunny here. Pretty day.

having rain today but not complaining as we have a drought and need it badly.....only thing is it decided to let loose in a downpour when I was about eight steps from the top of the stairs pulling up my groceries LOL
hoping to get a downstairs apartment in our complex as the stairs are a pain in the ass for me...

I read about your dust and smog. Do you get that very much or does it depend on how the wind blows? Windy but sunny here. Pretty day. I gather the conditions have all prevailed together...and so we have the grunge dropping upon us..though the south has it seems been most affected no we don't get a lot like this..in fact I can only remember once before getting dust from the Sahara..[that time it was red]so its dependent on wind and conditions...when we were heavily industrialised plus All open fires then the cities would get smog[yellow filthy stuff] where I am we get quite a lot of low cloud and hill fogs but usually in the winter..or if there is a moors fire depending on the wind we can choke on smoke and burnt bits..the last time that happened was a few years ago..when it was best to stay indoors for a few days the moors of the UK seem to cop for quite a lot of things which happen in the world eg during the time of Abomb testing in the pascific many sheep were born wretchedly disabled and malformed because of the radiation blowing to the moors after Chernobyl too the incidence of malformed sheep went up the air is of better quality this morning not as hazy and can see the back hills.... nothing on the agenda..so it will be another lazy day ahead

4 apple pies backed today. One for each of my son's famillys, one for my daughter's family and one for us. Now the usually dilemma about whether to have a slice with whipped cream or cheddar cheese. What an exotic kitty, Sugi. Is her name Fi Fi ?

Warm evening. College basketball tonight so I'm home free for supper. That always means U of Ky fans are manning the grill.
Hope they win but it's the finals, so definitely not a sure thing.
