Latcho Drom - Margita Makulová
Dimming of the Day - Richard and Linda Thompson
Love Song - Vashti Bunyan
I don't think there's a thread on folk/rock on this section of the board but here goes!
The first one is pure folk - a Romani song about the porajmos - the gypsy holocaust - in Auschwitz.
The others are more folk-rocky.
Hope some people will enjoy!

Lin, there IS a Folk Music thread .. in fact, I think Mike is the one who started it. Just continue with this one if you like and I'll adjustthe title at some point.

I saw this Folk thread the other day and decided to add this one. It's about 9-11 and the American spirit. I feel it cuts to the core.

Paper Bubble - Energy
Paper Bubble - She
Two of my favourite tracks by a band I loved when I was young. Around eleven or twelve when I first came across their wonderful album 'Scenery' which I think had been out for a few years previously but I have always found utterly magical

This is finally back on YT. I guess they got the copyright issues ironed out.
Nice one and Keith sings it best.

A good'un Open another browser and give a listen while you're here. The early 60s were another world for sure. Right on the edge of tomorrow before it turned into today.

You're welcome Jessie. Folk Music is one of my favorite genres. Right behind rock and jazz.
