Thanks, Beth OK, the dust has settled here on board after a hectic few days, so I can post a few more photos Right, after settling in to our hotel, we took a brief walk about However, we had a walking tour arranged for the following morning, so retired to the pool, then the bar! More to follow

A few shots in Sorrento; I'll probably put a few more up later too A car climbs up from the harbour It's a fair way down Lots of Geckos about Looking west - this is the original harbour and back towards the commercial harbour; we'll see more of there later. Note the haze; it does burn off once the sun gets some altitude Lots of gardens about, with some very strange statues The inside of one of the many churches in Sorrento

Well, it was lunchtime; we'd had a lovely walk, & were now thirsty and hungry, so... Mmmm... at least I didn't stick my tongue out whilst concentrating! Lovely grub! Just the job! smiley 1

Sunday - the trip along the Amalfi Coast. Now, the rules about maximum coach lengths had changed fairly recently, & our coach was too long, so we had to have a local coach and driver chartered in. It was <ahem> 'interesting'... So, off we went Leaving Sorrento and almost immediately the road & views become dramatic. There was still some early mist around as we set off. Note our driver sitting at the front doing the commentary for us - even he got nervous at times during the day...

scary on those roads..even though you know you can..sometimes one wonders if you really can get round the next bend saftly Hmm, it's when you went whipping round that corner & found a vehicle coming the opposite way also looking for the 'best line' - as any fule kno, all Italian drivers think they're good enough for Formula 1...
