1st November already. Father Christmas comes next month. Boy! is that frightening. 25C sunny today. Been to exercise classes and my walk down the beach. Should be fit. LOL Enjoy your day. what is truly insane is that i saw a christmas petsmart commercial the night before halloween. christmas season does NOT begin until the day after thanksgiving, no matter what stores do. in reality, christmas season doesn't begin until i see a chia pet commercial, or clapper, whichever comes first

I had computer problems too for the past 5 hours or more. Over 80+ malware + 2 severe Trojans. All from a bad, bad java download. Not from real Java. I scanned twice, Malawarebytes and then done a system restore.
you have to watch that. i just got the stupid thing popping up with a java page, warning me about something. there's media player that does the same thing. you should NEVER, ever go to a site that pops up on your computer. if you want to update java or something, you go to the java site.

Unless you actually run things that use Java, it's best not to have it... I uninstalled it and have never missed it. "Another vulnerability has been discovered in Java; if Java is installed on your machine, malware authors can exploit it to infect your computer with something as simple as your visiting a malicious or hacked website. As I write this, there is no update to Java, which means that there is no fix. Technically that makes this a "zero-day exploit". The fix that most experts, including myself, are recommending is to remove Java from your machine. Chances are you don't actually need it anyway." Yeah reading that link clarified a lot of issues that I had, so thanks for posting it. I read a lot about the security issues with Java6. I know for a fact I have not seen that 'this needs Java to run image' on anywhere I go on Proboards.
Java7 is deleted. Thanks.

My son removed Java from my computer back in the aummer. I do not miss it at all.
Storms are over here and the temperatures are lower today with a breeze and nip in the air. Bright sunshine but chilly.
Tonight the clocks fall back. It will be nice not to have to get up in the dark.
Two more shootings in the news today. One at LAX where a TSA employee was killed and 2 others wounded and another in Missouri where a college football coach was the victim.

I remember all that java stuff from this past summer. This is part of my issue with over active thyroid health issues now, remembering stuff.

You beat us by one degree, Jim. It got up to 57 here today. Supposed to have highs in the low 60s through the coming week. We'll see whather that happens or not. We usually get stuck in the 50s through the month of November. Have to admit the foliage is beautiful though.
I'm sure Chinook and Leroy are well cared for. I've heard it's healthier for medium sized and large dogs to be out as long as they have shelter because being in a warm house, then back and forth into winter temps is more likely to make them catch a cold or worse.

Oh it did get dark too early.
The fronts that pass through have the most to do with our weather, Jumbo. There are not too many differences except that we are more likely to have snow to your rain in the winter.
I liked living in Tennessee for many reasons. The weather was one. Very moderate.
