Love those warm colors, Sugi. This has been a busy day but very nice, too. Still hot but maybe a little cooler tonight .. at least it feels that way to me. No grilling going on .. after a weekend when the grill was in almost constant use. I had a cheese with a lovely slice of tomato and sweet tea for supper. Just right. Off to bed soon. Hard to believe tomorrow is Thursday already. Seize the day and have a good'un.

Good afternoon everyone. Had a great evening last night at the Thai Restaurant. Been out to the shops this morning for some food. Mitch is cooking dinner so a real lazy day.

I went in to work at 6 this morning. Got all the outside work done while it was cool. Now, it's almost time for lunch and already up in the 80s. Still summer.

We were going to clean our back yard furniture to store it until spring. Today is so warm we have decided to keep it out for another week, maybe two!
Hope all here are doing well.

So everybody's having a nice hot day, then. Me, too, though we have chances for a storm later. This week has flown by ... Friday tomorrow!

It's been a lovely day here in Cheerful Chiswick. I've been pottering about in the garden most of the afternoon. The cucumbers have gone wild. They have grown up the fence, over the fence into next doors garden, then back up the fence and spread out to the left and right of the runner beans. Got all tangled up in the runner beans, and they're climbing up the wall of my neighbours extension. They'll be over the roof in a few days. I've never seen cucumbers growing like that before. It's really crazy. The lettuce are doing really well and are delicious, the 'Tiny Tim' tomatoes are ripening nicely, but the big plum tomatoes are still green. Oh yes and I have another green pepper on the pepper plant. I ate the last on in a salad it was tasty. The autumn carrots I set are beginning to show through as are the potatoes I planted in a potato grow bag just to see what would happen.

I sure would like to see a picture of the cucumbers, Who. Ours didn't do any good at all this year. I planted them from seed. Don't know maybe I didn't tend them well enough or something.

I don't know what I've done, Dex But they sure have grown wild. I'm going to have to get some help posting photo's but I'll do me best.
