I know I'm not the only person who loves 60's music. So I'll start with a little gem from The Doors. I think Jimmy is singing about himself but you never know...

I just love this song. It's a classic. Apparently, Morrison was so stoned when they tried to record it, his performance is made up of masses of takes edited together. And this clip. Check out Krieger's black eye! Courtesy of Jimmy boy. You gotta love the Lizard King. He's just so...wasted. Yet cool.

Well, this is my favourite Rolling Stone song. Ever. Released in '66 and embraced by the guys serving in Vietnam. This video has some dark images but we're all adults and there's nothing that hasn't been shown many times before. And the everlasting image, to me, of the Vietnam War. The Hueys.

You're welcome MM. I just post what I like and hope someone else enjoys my choices. fret, that's a song I've never heard of before. Thanks. Damn those hippy protesters Although I don't think I'd enjoy being pulled down stone steps on my ar**. Where to go next? So much great material. I'm deliberately steering clear of the Beatles and the Monkees. All right, I'll continue with some 'hippy' music. A very different video to my last one. One day, I'll get to San Francisco.

Damn I love this song. My thanks to pumpkin for this one. It's just too cool for words. Who'da thunk that the Stats started out with this 60's psychodelic music? From '68.

Sometimes Motown can be done better, but not that often.
