www.career-test.co.uk/test.phpFairly accurate as far as the careers I've been or wanted to be involved in. Less so, as if anybody cared about results and methods more than a quick buck. Percentage breakdown of your results: Introverted (I) 75% Extraverted (E) 25% Intuitive (N) 82% Sensing (S) 18% Feeling (F) 70% Thinking (T) 30% Perceiving (P) 77% Judging (J) 23% INFP – Idealists and Dreamers Career relevant traits: • Devoted ad loyal • Have strong values • Warmly interested in others • Service oriented, often putting the needs of others before theirs. • Future and growth orientated, constantly wanting to grow in a positive direction • Complex, creative, sensitive and inspirational • Easy going and flexible, except when a ruling principle is violated • Do not like working with details and routine work • Original and individual - "thinking out of the box" • Very good written communications • Prefer working alone, possibly can have problems working in teams • High value on authentic and deep relationships • Want to be appreciated and seen for who you are Interestingly, the majority of the world’s greatest authors have been INFPs. Your career will be more important to you “just a job”, you will need to be doing something meaningful that suits your strong value systems. The INFP will be most happy in a career that has a direct or indirect goal of achieving something positive for all of humanity. You are highly focused on making the world a better place, and also for attaining the meaning of life. As an idealist and perfectionist you work hard on your quest for achieving the goals you have set yourself. You are intuitive about people and also rely on your intuitions to guide you through life and search for value and meaning. You hate conflict and take lengths to avoid it. If it must be faced, it is approached with the perspectives of other’s feelings in mind. Thus you don’t really care who is right or wrong, but only how the conflict makes you feel. Other’s may see this as irrational behaviour during conflict situations. On the other hand, as an INFP you can make a very good mediator, and good at solving other’s conflicts because you intuitively understand each person’s feelings and perspectives and truly wish to help them. You are easy going and flexible until someone breaks you of your values, to which you can aggressively defend, and fight for a just cause. Because of your high standards you can be hard on yourself, and even others in group or team situations because your ideals are higher. This can create problem of control, which may need to be a addressed in order to live in balance. Possible Career Paths for the INFP: • Writers • Musicians • Consultants • Fine art teachers • English teachers • Editors • Education consultants • Journalists • Social scientists • Counselors and Social Workers • Teacher or Professor • Psychiatrists and psychologists • Religious Workers • Television Reporter • Systems Analyst, Computer specialist/programmer • Scientist • Writer or Journalist • Engineer

i'd have to say that it is pretty accurate
Percentage breakdown of your results: Introverted (I) 89% Extraverted (E) 11% Sensing (S) 55% Intuitive (N) 45% Thinking (T) 100% Feeling (F) 0% Judging (J) 73% Perceiving (P) 27%
ISTJ – Duty Fulfillers and Examiners
Career relevant traits: • Will work long and hard to complete tasks to completion. • Faithful and loyal. • Stable, practical and down-to-earth • Do not like abstract theory, unless you see the practical application • Natural leaders • Prefer to work alone, but work well in teams when necessary • Extremely observant, you take in facts via your senses and store them internally • Vast inner store of facts which are used to understand problems which are encountered in your lifetime • Deep respect for facts and concrete information • Make decisions objectively, applying rational and logical thinking • Dislike change, unless you are shown it´s benefit in a concrete way • Have strong opinions about the way things should be done • Appreciate structured, orderly environments • Have very high standards for your own and other’s behaviour. • Not naturally able to pick up on other’s feelings • Can accomplish almost anything if you put your mind to it.
You are a quiet and reserved person who seeks security and peace. Your sense of duty can create an air of serious around you, and this duty, combined with your honesty and integrity means you can be relied upon to complete tasks independently. You have great respect for facts, which you acquire through your sensing thinking mind. Although at times theories and ideas which are different to your own perspective you may have difficulty in understanding, once you have been shown the importance of the concept, you will go to all lengths to support and work to complete your duty. Percentage breakdown of your results:
Introverted (I) 57% Extraverted (E) 43% Sensing (S) 64% Intuitive (N) 36% Feeling (F) 70% Thinking (T) 30% Judging (J) 59% Perceiving (P) 41% ISFJ – Nurturers and Defenders
Career relevant traits: • Very observant and aware of others reactions and feelings • In-tune with the surroundings giving an excellent sense of space and function • Practical, down-to-earth and stable. You do not like to work with abstract thought and theory • Service oriented, the ISFJ focuses on other’s wants and needs • Very uncomfortable with confrontation and conflict • Learn best with hands-on training
You have two basic qualities which define your best career orientation: a) You are extremely interested and tuned to how other’s are feeling, and b) You enjoy creating order and structure, and are extremely good at this.
You should choose a career in where you can use your exceptional people observation skills to determine what people want or need, and then use your brilliant organisational abilities to create an environment or plan for creating these wants and needs. Your awareness of aesthetic quality, combined with your strong sense of space and function also allows you to have special abilities in the practical arts, such as clothes design and interior decorating. ISFJs are kind and warm-hearted people. You believe the best in people and treat others with kindness and consideration, as you value harmony and co-operation. An ISFJ is a practical person that learns by doing rather than by reading or applying a theory. For this reason you are not likely to be found in a field which requires a lot of conceptual theory or analysis. An ISFJ enjoys working on something for its practical application and once you know how to perform the task, you will do so faithfully and continually, through to completion. Thus making an ISFJ an extremely dependable person.
Possible Career Paths for the ISFJ: • Interior Decorators • Designers • Gardeners • Curators • Medical technologists • Nurses br /> • Administrators and Managers • Administrative Assistants • Librarians • Child Care and Early Childhood Development • Social Work / Counsellors • Paralegals • Religious Workers or clergy • Office Managers • Shopkeepers • Bookkeepers • Home Economics(home makers)

This was my score: www.career-test.co.ukClick to take testTypesForumVoteContacts Results Percentage breakdown of your results: Extraverted (E) 75% Introverted (I) 25% Intuitive (N) 59% Sensing (S) 41% Feeling (F) 85% Thinking (T) 15% Perceiving (P) 73% Judging (J) 27% ENFP – Inspirers and Advocates Career relevant traits: • Future and project oriented • Bright and capable • Warmly and genuinely interested in people, having great people skills • Very intuitive and perceptive about others • Can relate well to others on their own level • Service oriented, you put the needs of others before their own • Do not like doing routine tasks • Require appreciation and approval from others • Friendly, creative, co-operative and energetic • Strong verbal and written communication abilities • Are natural leaders which do not like to control or be controlled by others • Work with reason and logic, with intuition to comprehend the end goal. • An ability to grasp difficult theories and concepts ENFPs luckily are capable of a lot of different things. As an ENFP you are enthusiastic about your work, you generally perform quite well. The downside is that you can become bored of details and routine work rather quickly, and therefore do not always see tasks through to completion, so you should avoid such jobs with many tedious routine tasks. The best careers for you will be ones that allow you to work closely with people and using your creative skills to form new ideas. Avoid positions which are routine and regimented. You unusually have a wide range of talents and skills, such that you may have various careers throughout your lifetime. Importantly you need to be doing what you feel is right and be doing something that fits with your strong values. To others, you at times may seem directionless and without purpose, however you in reality are quite consistent to your sense of values which you never leave. Seeing meaning in everything, you are acutely aware of the big picture and how things work. Living in the world of exciting possibilities the details of everyday life can be boring chores, and thus working with menial tasks is not easy. This can lead to an avoidance of maintenance type tasks which can frustrate others, including your family members. You are basically a happy person who thrives on change and excitement, and can perform well as long as the job retains these qualities. Ingenious, risk-taking, charming and sensitive your people skills give you capabilities in a wide range of areas. Possible Career Paths for the ENFP: • Teachers • Consultants • Sales representatives • Artists • Designers • Psychologists • Social worker • Social scientist • Public relations • Entrepreneurs • Actors • Counselor • Politician or diplomat • Television Reporter • Systems Analyst, Computer specialist/programmer • Scientist • Writer or Journalist • Engineer

and this is me
Percentage breakdown of your results: Extraverted (E) 64% Introverted (I) 36% Intuitive (N) 68% Sensing (S) 32% Thinking (T) 65% Feeling (F) 35% Judging (J) 50% Perceiving (P) 50%
ENTJ – Executives and Chiefs
Career relevant traits: • Natural leaders • Driven to turn ideas into plans • No patience with incompetence and inefficiency • Want order and structure • Highly developed verbal communication skills • Do not like routine, detailed jobs • Decisive and self-confident
You love to interact with people and to be part of an intellectual lively conversation. You respect others who can stand up to you and who can persuasively argue your point of view, but because of your self-confidence and excellent verbal skills, others may loose confidence when debating with you. You don’t live in the world of feelings, but can be quite sentimental, even if it is not shown to others. One risk lies with making judgements based on ill-founded emotions and sentiments which can lead to problems. If your thinking and intuitive nature is less developed you can be prone to making hasty decisions which may not always be the best, and another risk is that you can be giving orders and directions without sound reasoning, or consideration for the people involved. Having said that, you likely have many gifts which give you a great deal of personal power, as long as you remain balanced in your life. Your ability to be assertive with long range thinking, combined with organisational skills allows you to create plans from theories, and have the personal tools to accomplish whatever goals you strive to attain. You are especially well-suited to be a leader or organization builder. You contain the ability to clearly identify problems and find innovative solutions for short and long-term goals. Having a strong desire to lead, you are usually not happy just to follow. Being an ENTJ means you like to be in control, and need to take charge to use the advantage of your special capabilities. You focus strongly on your career and naturally fit into the corporate environment. You are constantly scanning your world for potential problems which you can turn into solutions. You generally see things from a long-range perspective, and are very good at identifying plans to turn problems around, particularly problems of a corporate nature. As an ENTJ you are usually successful in the business world, because you are so driven to leadership. You are a hard and dedicated worker, and driven to recognize where an organization is headed. For these reasons, you are a natural corporate leader.
Possible Career Paths for the ENTJ: • Corporate Executive Officer or Organization Builder • Entrepreneur • Mortgage Banker or Broker • Scientists • Marketing manager • Politician • Computer Consultant • Lawyer • Judge • Business Administrators and Managers • University Professors and Administrators

I always distrust tests which analyse personality on the basis of a few questions, some of which inevitably have a measure of ambiguity.
For what it is worth I came out as Extravert 82/18, Sensing 64/36, Thinking 80/20, Judging 50/50
