The last day of May is the last day of the three-month period that makes up spring, meteorologically. In practical reality, however... Mind you, down here in the south-west it's shaping up to be another scorcher like yesterday. yeah, TECHNICALLY, tornado season ended may 31. i'm sure that a lot of folks in oklahoma would argue the point though

lol Thank you sweetly. My daughter is going with me in a few. We're going to drive over to NKU and see how it goes. She likes to walk with me on Saturdays ... and then get me to go to her favorite restaurant with her and spring for lunch. It works pretty well and also allows for a little mother, daughter time. Got yours in yet today?

Got yours in yet today? No, not until about 1pm edt (2 hours or so from now). I dread it because I over-did yesterday and my knee is sore. it was swollen when I got up but I used some anti-inflammatory and it looks better. We'll see how it goes. I'm getting someone to go with me, just in case.

Well....yesterday was a fun day.......we were about to leave the house to go get some shopping done when a wreck happened right outside out house. One of the trucks ended up in our yard. Our house is on a corner. There is a stop sign for the traffic going North and South.....not one for the East-West traffic. Well....a 13 year old...that had no business driving.....was stopped headed north.....and didn't yield and t-boned a Tahoe....guess it scared him and he hit the gas and ended up in our yard......took hours for the wrecker to show up and then pull the truck out of yard. It had to be pulled out sideways and they of course caught one of the railroad ties that section off some garden sections....and pulled one out.......luckily there were enough people around and they helped put it back in place! Probably will have some dead areas in the yard for awhile where all his radiator fluid leaked out......Luckily no one was hurt so all the other stuff is fixable.
Then went to a friend's retirement party.......kind of think that won't be a good thing....he and his wife fight non-stop........think with him home.....may end up with one of them killing the other.......I'm kidding.......I think......

What a perfectly strange morning. I wake up, get coffee, get online and there's a broohaha (<-did I spell that right?) raging across three different boards. Wreckage strewn about in its path. (trust me this colorful euphemysms version is way better then the actual details which I know better than to post anyway..) But in the middle of this, a young woman walks up onto my porch, puts her bag on my chair, and standing not 5 feet from me directly at my window, begins to pull something out of her bra. *the men listen more closely* It was a bag of pot! And i thought "hey, give me that!" (no i didnt. I kid. I kid.) Well I guess she just didnt see me at my desk, so I kind of pretended I didnt see her, as in the city, it's wise not to confront people when you dont have to. And she went on her way (and didnt leave me any) (um, and that's a good thing! yea. (And no, it's really not that bad of a neighborhood. In fact we're part of the University community here so everyone has perfectly kept grass and siding, not a cigarette butt in sight on the street. It's nice. BUT it is the city so I guess if my upstairs neighbor wants to hire a door-to-door hooker and she needs to get her herbals sorted out before she goes in and sees her client , then well i guess that's what she's gonna' do! *feels relieved* this is much more fun than attending the broohaha (<- no, that's a word, sure it is)trust me!

I think I was showing off a bit for my little daughter. I put an ice pack on it after the workout, today. Taking it a little at a time.
