If you could have 3 wishes - but could not wish for material things ... what would you wish for?

Meh!! Goodbye mortgage, hello multi-million lottery win, never pay a penny in tax again (I'm not against paying my way; they just charge too much and p**s it away, entirely needlessly).

Well, yeah, but try another #3 that isn't material, so you'll get your quota.

Hunny, good luck just might be a very good substitute for material wishes. Power Ball, etc.. Smart move. Notice how many of the wishes cover a lot of other people. We are an altruistic lot for sure.

1. No hunger 2. No crime 3. No wars and this would create problems....without hunger.....crime or war then sloth would develop and invention and innovation would slow down to a trickle and to get the three above and others mentioned one would have to change humanity its self the sad thing is without hunger..crime or war there is little left for humanity to strive for...a good example our our young men.....who have no battles to fight no new worlds to conquer and who forced against their inbred instincts to lead sedentary lives and achieve very little..many times their inbuilt aggression only having outlet when fuled by drink they fight each other humans do well when up against it and have some thing to strive for and against so I will stick with my original wishes and add just one more. 1/ to feel 20 or 30 yrs younger and as fit as a fiddle....[purely a selfish wish] 2/a break out of commonsense across the planet........this would impact on hunger..politics..battles..wars..and crime 3/some warm weather ......this would impact on crime and food producing and general well being .4/.a cure for cancers........this would make a multitude of peoples happier

Well, this thread was set to open up a Deep Thoughts discussion of Greed ... and the "Four Psychologists at the Gates of Hell" article is an important part of that. Your comments are well taken, mouse, and exactly what we need to kick off the 3rd thread to the mix. Please do read the Gate of Hell article, everyone, and then take this discussion to the Greed thread.
