Good luck with that. the right eye was corrected to 20/40 and only need reading glasses but the left eye is going to need a contact lens as no one manufactures the IOL that I really needed......my left eye is very long so it was harder to correct but the vision I have now in it is still amazing compared to what it was.......will know more after doctor visit thi morning thanks for asking

Yes, good luck, Chef.
Dreary, chilly and gray again today. This has been the pattern all week and will carry into the weekend. It was expected because the groundhog saw his shadow last month. I, for one, look forward to spring coming soon. Easter is the 31st. Maybe March will go out like a lamb.

thinking of you cheff and all things crossed for you
we get weeks like that jessie...today was a dreary grey day after a couple of days sunshine the sweep came but the roofer had an emergency and is now comming on tuesday..good job am not leading an exciting social life at the moment..having to stay in to deal with these working chaps but at least the chimney is now cleared uop of any soot build up and wont need doing for a further 6 months its only because the chimney is lined and we burn a lot of wood it needs doing so often...but there is nothing like comming in cold in the middle of winter and opening the the doors and watching the fire roar away or for roasting chestnuts or simply watching the flicker of flames

Well I done the lung biopsy and now I wait a week or so to get the results. Pathologists were with me in the room checking out the mass on the cat-scan and didn't think it was cancer, so who knows. It's 11mm big, so it's technically too small yet to be know what it is.
So I shall see soon what I'm dealing with.
The test itself is nothing, it's the other stuff. You have to lay on your stomach completely still for an hour cause a needle is stuck in your back. The needle was nothing, it was the room, it was freezing, I was shaking and my shoulders and upper arms cramped up. So I told them to drug me up so I could stop shaking. The doctor complied.

Sorry, i put this post in the Feb thread, about 58mins ago. Senior moment eh...anyway. Chef, i hope the pain your eye clears up quickly. Beez, not too bad the couple of failures on the car, considering. I got stopped by the police last week....rear light was not working....i got out of the car and gave it a thump, and it came back on....the policeman said "Try doing that with the tax disc" Also, i believe that Sug's is having her biopsy today, so fingers crossed there as well.

Just use a kitchen stovetop burner and a long (wood) handled fork .. or wrap something around an ordinary fork to keep from burning your hand. My little nephew loves them that way. He can choose exactly how dark to make his
