Ouch! Poor guy. Hope he got unstuck and home safely.
We have temps in the 50s and bright sunshine right now. Thinking of all in the storm zone.
Stay safe and warm if possible!

Been reading about the storm. 650,000 people with no power. 5000 flights cancelled. Good luck to all in the New England area. Stay in and wait for an all clear to start to dig out.

It's freezing cold in Chiswick, we may get about an inch of snow soon. That would be terrible round here, the schools will close down, the buses and trains will stop running and no one will be able to get to work. Lawks! I wonder how we would manage if we got some real snow.

Just an update on that: Well, in the end, we got almost a meter of snow all at once, so it's hard to see around corners when you drive (because of all the snow piled up, from plowing it). But they'll remove those piles over the next week..haul them away somewhere to let them melt. It's nice and sunny now. Always is after a storm. And the snow is decorative, and makes being indoors more appreciated. A cup of hot chocolate, some warm socks, happiness.
Glad to hear you're on the mend, Sadie. How is Sheba?

It's 5 o'clock and it has not stopped raining all day. It's cold, wet and miserable in the south of England right now. Feel a bit SAD.

After hearing about the snow storms, I won't moan about a bit of rain in England! Hope you don't get floods when it finally melts.

Sunny and mild here (50s F). Went out to brunch with some of the entourage (aka extended family) and am getting ready to have a sit and look through the seed and garden catalogs that arrived yesterday via mail. Too early, but they always come in February. Perhaps it's the plant company's idea of a good will gesture to give people hope. Naaa Probably their idea of the best marketing plan to beat the local greenhouses for the same customers.
