A killer and a rapist have used human rights laws to avoid being deported from Britain for their crimes. .... how the courts have used human rights legislation’s contentious Article Eight, which says that everyone has the “right to a family life”, to overrule attempts to deport serious criminals and illegal immigrants. And that's why the Human Criminal Rights Act must go; despite the protestations of the BHB (Bleeding Hearts Brigade). Prashna Is it just me, or does anyone else find it amazing that during the mad cow epidemic our government could track a single cow, born in Appleby almost three years ago, right to the stall where she slept in the county of Cumbria? And, they even tracked her calves to their stalls. But they are unable to locate 125,000 illegal immigrants wandering around our country. Maybe we should give each of them a cow.

AV Human rights comes from this.... The Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms (commonly known as the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR)) is an international treaty to protect human rights and fundamental freedoms in Europe. Drafted in 1950 by the then newly formed Council of Europe, the convention entered into force on 3 September 1953. All Council of Europe member states are party to the Convention and new members are expected to ratify the convention at the earliest opportunity. Its principle purpose is to protect the citizen against the state. The Convention established the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR). Any person who feels his or her rights have been violated under the Convention by a state party can take a case to the Court. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_Convention_on_Human_RightsIts not like your bill of rights, although there are similarities. Wow...sounds to me like giving away your sovereignty to people and countries that may have radically different ideas & morals. Be afraid...be very afraid. The calls for a referendum on Europe, are being put to the house on Monday. The Cons/Lab have formed a 3 line whip so that the referendum will not take place, even though "Call me Dave" said in 2007, whilst in opposition, that a referendum for the people would happen, if he got in....he did, he lied. This poll suggests the people want out of the EU. www.express.co.uk/posts/view/278966/Three-quarters-of-Britons-say-quit-EU-now

If they lie, like Cameron did, to get elected, they should be removed from office imo.

If they lie, like Cameron did, to get elected, they should be removed from office imo. Well he actually stated we would get a vote in 2007. Then in opposition in 2009..we had this lie.
