Trouble is if they have British passports then they cannot be prevented from entering "their" country. When the immigration bod asks you a few questions about where you've come from you can decline to answer; they have no legal power to prevent you from passing into your own country. However, a cautionary tale:- Last time I flew into Bristol I declined to answer. The guy on the desk said nothing and waved me through. He'd obviously given the secret signal, though, because as I entered the corridor behind the desks to head for baggage reclaim a woman in a very severe pencil skirt suit stepped infront of me from a little desk at the side of the passageway and demanded my passport. When I queried who she was she held up an ID card. She was, according to the piece of plastic, counter-terror plod. I saw what was coming and decided not to play silly buggers. "I've come from Norway via Holland." "Thank you, sir..." We can't have the murderous toerags suing for their bleeding rights, can we? On the other hand, May could further increase her already increased use of citizenship-stripping powers and cancel their passports whilst they're out in Syria. This would render them stateless, which is illegal under EU law, but you know how long these court proceedings can take - years. In the interim all the ex-supposedly British hand shandy merchants stuck in Syria will probably die in the fighting. Ideally... smiley 1 Good post.

She was taken to the court by Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) militants after she was caught using the social networking site, it has been reported. ISIS militants have reportedly stoned a Syrian girl to death for having a Facebook account (file picture) The court, which is under the jurisdiction of ISIS, ruled the act of being a member of the social network deserved to be punished the same way as adultery, according to examiner.com. That poor girl. I wish there could be justice for her.

the thing is Maggie that while some of us are listening those with the power to do something about these abuses and murders are looking happily in the other direction and keeping very silent on these issues I would like to see the immans etc say in all the western countries that Facebook is akin to adultery..and then watch the faithful either try to argue the point or ignore the point this would then show up the rank and abject hypocracy of this cult....just how many would be prepared to give up their facebook accounts...or further down the line give up their computers full stop... now that really would be an intereting scenario
this cult argues against the west and all its sins and yet every advance or piece of technology is happily used by them and at the same time they are falling over them selves to get into western countries to feast on the goodies at the same time as condemning the west and the goodies....they are the worlds biggest hyporcrites and double dealers

On the plus side, does it mean that Chodhry, the MCB and all the "British" islamiacs that do stuff like march through London inciting murder will no longer plague Faceberk, Twitter and the rest of the internet, since there's a sharia law precedent now?

I wouldn't hold your breath... And in any event, it's probably still OK for males to do it, not lasses...

True. But for all their huffing and puffing and rhetoric it took a woman to muster the minerals to walk in to a surgery and knife an MP.

Mind you, whilst a lot of people got a bit frothy at the temerity of the lass at the time, how many of us would now also like to knife an MP or two? Or six hundred and fifty...?
