I am reading the new Woody Allen book and am about half finished. It is somewhat interesting though it has always seemed to me neither he or Mia Farrow haver their ducks in a row.
I may have to watch Purple Rose of Cairo again after this.

I am over half finished, using the audio version which I recommend.
Allen is very talky, but I must admit he does get a lot said. He has been quite kind to Mia Farrow, all things considered, but may be getting ready to let loose.
She distroyed Dori Previn without a second thought ("Beware of young girls who come to the door".).
When I finish the book, I think I'll see one of Woody Allen's films. Maybe Bullets Over Broadway. He is very talented.

He and Dianne Keaton had great chemistry. Husbands and Wives is excellent, Manhattan, Hannah and Her Sisters...

I've seen Annie Hall and shall read up on the others and choose one. I think Allen has written other books. I may find another to read.

With the #MeToo movement it depends on who is in the frame. They've decided to rewrite recent history.

So who should be read first … Ronan Farrow or Woody Allen.
Opinion?

Wel;l …………. NBC has tried to discredit him. That's the main reason I'd like to read Farrow's book.
Isn't Wooky Allen his father? Looks like he would be more supportive.

But Ronan Farrow's new book, Catch and Kill, is just now coming out and though NBC has tried to clean up their act, it appears Matt Lauwer is still on the hot seat.
What makes you think Farrow has been discredited, Joe?

What makes you think Farrow has been discredited, Joe? His insane accusations against Woody Allen never panned out. If he can lie about all of that, why would you believe anything he's written?

While some may not believe he's honest, I don't see anything that proves Farrow is discredited. I'd rather make up my own mind by reading his book first and then reading Woody Allen's book to see if it takes him to the cleaners.
I have to finish the book I'm reading now, then I'll get with it.

I lack a little over an hour being finished with the Woody Allen book. He seems to be closing it out by naming everyone he's ever known in his life - personal or business. :)
After this I want to read the Stephen King book I've started, The Outsider, and then I'll turn around and see if I can get into the Ronan Farrow expose'.
In the meantime, the Robbie Robertson book, Testimony, is waiting on the shelf. It's bigger than I wish it were but I'll get to it this summer. THEN .. maybe The Pillars of the Earth, if Nelson DeMille or Richard Russo don't come out with something new.
