beautiful sunshineafter a very chilly night.....really bringing out the colours It was chilly here, too. We turned on a little heat for the first time since last spring. Beautiful day, now though. Some leaves are finally changing.

It is cooler than I prefer this afternoon but, as you say, mouse, the colors are beautiful. The Halloween avatars are wonderful.

We have been in the country most of this week, taking care of repairs and winterizing.
I hope everyone here is safe and well.
Have a good weekend!

Enjoy your visit in spite of the weather, mouse.
We are going out of town tomorrow. Be back back Friday. Our usual fall visit with friends in Louisville for an evening at Actor's Theatre.
The weather is mild (60s F), the sky is usual October bright blue and the leaves are changing. We had 20 minutes or so of hard rain this a.m. but no thunder or lightning.

yesterday my wife decided to move some bedroom furniture around. Instead of waiting for me to get home and help, she was moving it by herself. It did not go well. She tripped and fell against the edge of a big heavy chest of drawers and injured herself. I took her to Critical Care and the x-ray showed one of her ribs was cracked. I don't think she'll be moving any more furniture this year!
Chilly but clear tonight. Should be a nice day tomorrow.

Good wishes to her Sysop3. These unexpected accidents are more than painful, they throw a wrench into best laid plans and so forth. I have had bruised ribs and it was very painful. Be kind and patient. That will help her more than anything.

Typical fall day. No clouds. Bright blue sky. Temps in the 60s Fahrenheit.
Halloween's in the air. We bought a couple of extra pumpkins yesterday for carving over the weekend. The kids are excited.

It's been a nice day. We did go to Louisville but decided to save our fall/winter theater binge until after Halloween. One event at a time.
We had a nice lunch and did a little shopping. Tired now and glad to be home with nothing much to do, going into the weekend.
