+++++++++++Eurotrash revealed...+++++++++++ As Guido readers are well aware, the new set of EU leaders thrust upon us following days of secret backroom Brussels horse-trading aren’t exactly the most illustrious bunch – from the Karen Bradley of German politics to the deeply unpleasant Spanish Foreign Minister convicted of insider trading just last year. Safe to say Andrew Neil is not impressed. The poor pro-EU journalist doesn’t stand a chance… order-order.com/#_@/wJLubnJnb8s3yAOuch If what Mr. Neil says is true, the EU has serious problems. England would seem to be on the best track out of it. That Germany seems to have an unarmed military is scary. I can’t help but wonder what impact there is on NATO. Maybe it would be in England's best interest to seal the tunnel. Neil checks his facts. He's done this, done that and was editor of The Times. The EU is in big trouble, Von Der Leyen would never win an election. One wonders what she's done for Merkel, or what she knows, but she's been rewarded for something other than success. German soldiers used broomsticks painted black instead of guns during a joint Nato exercise last year due to severe equipment shortages, it has emerged.
The incident took place during exercises for Nato's rapid response force, formed in reaction to the Ukraine crisis, which is supposed to be ready to deploy anywhere it is needed at very short notice.
Soldiers in the Panzergrenadierbataillon 371 took part in the exercises last September in Norway. The troops were missing 31 per cent of their MG3 general-purpose machine guns, 41 per cent of their P8 handguns, and more than three-quarters of their Lucie night-vision devices.
Soldiers resorted to painting broomsticks black and attaching them to Boxer armoured vehicles to simulate gun barrels. www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/germany/11420627/German-army-used-broomsticks-instead-of-guns-during-training.htmlLaying the guilt on every generation since the war ended has backfired badly.
