Warming up again and supposed to be back in the 80s F this afternoon. We are looking forward to a long weekend although I have to work part of a day tomorrow. That will still leave us Sunday and Monday to decorate at the cemetery and get together with family.

A warm, summery holiday weekend has begun. We baked yesterday and have dutch apple pie and lemon cake with cream cheese icing to take to Tennessee with us tomorrow for visiting relatives there.

I miss Mouse. She's the one I like to compare my weather with.
It's hot here, just before noon and already in the 80s F.

The 2 day trip was quite nice. Weather summery but not stifling as it will be in a few more weeks.
I hope all here have had a good holiday weekend.

We had some bang-up storms during the night. Today is clear blue skies except for a few white clouds. Hope it holds steady. My parents are driving to Florida for a weeks vacation.

lighter than yesterday but still grey... with a light wind son needs a few Forsythia for his grand plan ,,so today I shall take a couple of large cuttings of new growth and set them to root later we will pick up my friend with the c and bring her back here.. it changes the monotony as she is very conscious of he lack of hair and so isnt getting out much,..plus she feels rather ropey

We've had cool temps and scattered rain showers all day. Now, going on 6:30 p.m., the skies are blue and the sun is bright. Some friends are having a cookout tomorrow. We're taking scalloped potatoes and banana pudding. They have a swimming pool plus a kids pool. My husband has entered himself into the lawn croquet tournament. Fun to go around.
