Sounds like something I might possibly look into. Some books are better read but others are just as good in audio provided you have a good reader. I had a look and subscribed to give it a trial. Seems to me it might work as a chapter a night at bedtime relaxer. The Sue Grafton, Alphabet Mysteries seem good for starters. I've read a few so I'm familiar with the characters but there are plenty to go. Thanks for the information, Jessie. Does Alexa read it or a professional reader? It would be nice to have that range of information and material at my fingertips. I could read the books that have come out to give some insight into Donald Trump, or pollution vs climate change.

Anybody who plans to see "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" should read Vincent Bugliosi's book, Helter Skelter, first. Just sayin

The one I'm listening to now (a chapter a night before sleep) is certainly a professional reader and I'm guessing they all are.

well what ever next ...ive come in to divest my clothes and put on lighter wear as I was getting too hot in my little sheltered spot
our new neighbour is turning out to be a really pleasant person... enjoys gardening too the type where if you see her she smiles and says hello ..but who is never in your face such a change from the Glums who were so unpleasant to every one ,,,. so we are all looking forward a summer of peace and tranquility

My eyes keep seeing things my hands need to do.

It is in the 60s with sun here at the noon hour.
Nevermind, you are bound to have fine weather, too, mouse.
We still have all the "little winters" to get through. I believe the first is Redbud Winter and it should be along soon.

""Anybody who plans to see "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" should read Vincent Bugliosi's book, Helter Skelter, first. Just sayin"" I read it some years ago, one of the most disturbing bits of information was Angela Lansbury giving her Daughter Didi a letter which authorized her to hang out with Charlie. Didi was just 14 at the time !!

mouse"such a change from the Glums who were so unpleasant to every one" We have been so damn unlucky with Neighbours over the years, I always said to my Wife we never buy a semi anymore and we have a nice distance between our house and the neighbours, which is what we now have.
