It's early and I'm going to roll out of here in a few minutes to get done early! Thunderstorms are in the forecast.

Give old Sol an hour to climb up!

Bright sun, blue skies, a few puffy white clouds and almost chilly temps here today (70s F) thanks to a little breeze.
Friends are coming over to play an old card game, canasta, which we all enjoy.

thought there was a whiff of burning when I went out in the garden... seems the moors are on fire.. whether natural ignition or arson isn't known as yet
the last be fires took over 5 yrs to put out as it gets to the peat and travels underground but five years ago it was grim if you had any windows open and the place was covered in soots from the burning brackens and grasses, pretty dreadful for those with breathing problems ... I will be off to either sons or wales if it gets that bad

I hope the fires are put out with time4 to spare. Not counting the smoke and breathing dificulty, I imagine, I can imagine the smell is not very pleasant. We have a cool, rainy night. Very low key. I rather enjoy a rainy night as long as it does not fall on 4th of July or New Years Eve.

I noticed one of Dex's favorite sites has some interesting followups to stories from the past couple of days. www.rawstory.com/If Mr. Trump squeals like a pig, they generally hear him.
