Because someone who is a millionaire getting a speeding fine is not the same as someone who is on the minimum wage getting the same fine. You're wasting your time, Aub. Logic, reason, fairness, justice, and all of that liberal baggage is not going to work with Mouse. She's a Conservative, with a VERY big C. What a spiteful little post. Typical piece of lefty posturing - "Look at me! the Great Talisman! I'm so superior!" Mouse, like many an other Conservative, is logical, reasonable, fair and just. Which, on the basis of your nasty message, is more than can be said for you.

Some Tories would have taken it as a compliment. The Conservative Party wasn't dubbed "the nasty party" by Theresa May (now Home Secretary) for nothing, and she should know.

Because someone who is a millionaire getting a speeding fine is not the same as someone who is on the minimum wage getting the same fine. neither should be speeding..equality under the law has to mean just that..same crime same fine and if you can aford to run a car[expensive hobby these days] then you can aford to pay what ever fines incurred the answer is very simple..do not exceed the speed limmit both the millionaire chap and the minimum wage chap have that option The point is, it is not equal punishment. But don't break the speed limit, I'm with you on that.

What May said was "Some people think that we are the nasty party". An ill-judged remark because she could have guessed that unscrupulous people like you would twist her words. And no, you were not "expressing an opinion", you were claiming superior moral authority over Mouse.

Methinks the gentlemen doth protest too much.
