Hi Kronks, Green tea is an antioxidant and cleanses the blood of impurities that could cause problems for your health, like high cholesterol etc. Maybe I should give it a shot? I drink enough brown tea, I would also perhaps like to drink tea without milk if I can get used to it. It is not normal for adults to drink milk really. it is perfectly normal for adults to drink milk. has been the norn since way way back right across the planet .. milk is a food be it what ever form of milk is available Cow..Sheep..Yak..Reinder ..Goat..Camel.you name it if a milk producing animal can be kept still enough to milk.. then milk has been drunk and the things associated side products have been harvested.. yoghurt..cheese..butter etc etc

Some people cannot digest it properly they do not have the gene, it is mainly nothern European who have it I think. So normal for northern Europeans perhaps. I've never really like it much, never drank it neat as some do.

possibly because animals use milk for the purpose intended.. but actually animals will drink milk if its given to them as Jessie said cats do.. so do hedgehogs and badgers seem to like bread and milk
""""It's not normal. Somewhat less than 40% of people in the world retain the ability to digest lactose after childhood. The numbers are often given as close to 0% of Native Americans, 5% of Asians, 25% of African and Caribbean peoples, 50% of Mediterranean peoples and 90% of northern Europeans. Sweden has one of the world's highest percentages of lactase tolerant people."""
its quite normal to those who have adapted...because of their being plenty of milk around .. it all comes back to evolving to suit climate and food availabilities and we humans have evolved to suit our areas one of the biggest consumers of yohurt made from yak or camel milk were and possibly still are the Asian Mongols Yoghurt is one of their basic staples.. same in Nepal/Tibet in Europe Greece in particular Goat and sheep yoghurts in Westrn Europe the cow ownership was more prevelent either singly or in herds

Although apparently adult cats do not, mind you it depends on who you believe some say they tolerate it some say they don't, they maybe a bit like humans ie they will drink it but not digest it too well. Your cat obviously has no problem with it!

Your cat obviously has no problem with it! She waited for her milk every evening and drank it all. Now, when I say a "saucer", I do not mean a filled-to-the-brim saucer, but about 1/4 cup in the dish. Here's another example. My aunt and uncle had a farm and kept a couple of cows they milked each evening. They had several cats who would come running and wait until my uncle squirted fresh milk into a pan and set it down for them. They gobbled it up. I do not believe cats do not like milk. It goes against what I've seen myself.

I think it is the same for humans. A bit of gas or wind might not be too much of a problem really.
