52° with a low expected of 38° tonight...12mph winds; I sat outside about 30 minutes ago to enjoy the cold.
Mama Owl must be hunting so I pray for her safe return..the babies are huddled together and I think I see four....hard to tell in low light with them huddled...they have a good covering of feathers.
I'm getting a new fridge next week...this one is over ten years old and policy is a new one after ten years....going to ask about stove when they are here.

Coincidentally, we lost our fridge last week. Got up one morning and it had died in the night. Not only expensive to replace, but we had to wait 3 days (assisted by 2 large ice chests) before we could get delivery on the new one. Not a happy experience (luke warm Yogurt is not a delicacy). We have another small fridge in the basement but didn't want to empty it out. Just decided to suffer.

I am really missing it.. don't know whether to buy another of just buy a new battery though nearly DIL has offered me her mothers as her mother will not be using it again...her dementia has increased to the point where she would be unsafe

Hot here, but it's forecast to cool down over the weekend with a very pleasant week coming up (weather-wise). Blackberry winter (if one considers temps in the 70s F, winter)
Finished work for the weekend and giving my house-help lady a hand today with finishing up the spring cleaning.

I am very tired and so, off to bed. Temperatures in the 80s, 24-7, are going to cool 10 degrees or so for a week. No complaining from me.
May everyone have a good weekend.

a sunny Sunday morning windy too with some grey clouds banking up... not cold or chilly though as far as we know no body is coming today so its going to be just a casual drifty sort of day I am glad to see the back of this week its not been the best week ever ..perhaps the week starting tomorrow will be better

My sister did one of those expensive dna kits to find the background on our mother's side....I am so pleased with the finding that through my maternal grandmother there is 61% British Isles background!!!!! None of us had any idea so it was a pleasant surprise....now I know why I am drawn to England

If you are strongly drawn to a particular country, as sure as eggs are eggs it means that country has meaning for you in some way. Usually if we ask we will be given an answer and it will show up in the ' dreamstate' or in some other way.

The British isles is more than just England, Irish and Scottish and Wales are possibilities too. You could try researching your family tree, there are online site that can help but it might not be possible to go very far back depending on the record keeping.
