How right you are, Jumbo, and it's your good fortune that same someone cares about you. Don't forget, tomorrow is Valentines Day. Men an tol, it's good that you have excellent health care with your hospitals and rehab centers. Not all places have that advantage. Good luck to both you and your wife. You're right Anna and I have said as much in the past. We have lived a number of places and healthcare has often been far less than it is here. When living on the farm it was 15 miles to the nearest doctor, and farther to real care facilities. People took care of most medical situations themselves just as they did with the animals. Often people used folk remedies and some worked quite well, others, not so much. This area is full of surprises, we have (in the State) a major medical facility and a business acquiescence built and donated a major segment of it. You know, one of those evil old rich white guys. There are several such people I have come to know in this area and without those types of people our available medical facilities would not be so numerous as they. Even my Veteran's organization donates grants every year (and has been doing so for over 20 years) to a nurses college. Without the private sector we'd be in bad shape.

My best wishes that all the illness clears up soon, especially for Randy's wife, Jim's Hazel and our beloved mouse.
St. Patrick's day might be too soon, but by Easter, let us hope the clouds have lifted and all of us are ready to enjoy sprng.

February
Let's hope everybody is back on their feet sometime in March.
I'm pulling for you. Late December into March is the worst time of the year for illnesses here.

More "get well" wishes to all the sick.
I have to put in a couple of extra hours today because we are overloaded with sick folks - only two available rooms in ICU.

Cold and clear today. I baked banana nut bread this morning. Tomorrow is grocery shopping day which I dread.
Good wishes to all those who are still ill.

Hi Jessie. Banana bread is always good This has been a long, busy day for me and I'm very glad to be home with little to do .. rolling into the weekend. Looks like a slow day here on Babylon. Off to look around and then to find some supper. Back later.

Nice flower, Chef.
It's bright sun here, already 61 degrees F and not even 10:30 am yet.
The family and I are taking a little road trip to a state park where they have things for everybody to do outdoors and inside, too.
Hope everybody here has a good weekend.
