lazy day ahead prior to this evenings craft fair over in deepest darkest Cheshire ive been before but its a goodnight out and an excuse for us all to get together..its a craft fair of local[that area] crafts every thing from local caught and cured venison..wines to hand spun sweaters/scarves..hand made toiletries etc etc its held at a stately home ...the main crafts being in the renovated stables..and a couple of rooms in the big house...its a £15 entry[a bit rich isn't it paying squids to actually be able to buy...BUT there are wines and other drinks plus some nibbles in a huge converted barn.. the old stable yards are well set out with seatings and lighting and heating .any way its fun especially after the wine has flowed
very very cold with another thick frost covering every thing

We've been in the 60s F for 4 or 5 days as our high. Cool enough for long sleeves but not 20 degrees from cold. It's been a little nippy at night. It's gonna rain today and then the temps will fall about 10 degrees. Highs in the 50s. Cold in the 40s at night. Jackets. Coats! Winter before we know it.

I hope you have a good time at the Craft Fair, mouse. Even if you do, I'll bet you'll be glad to get back into the warm when you're home again.
Nice day here. Sun and clouds. The leaves are at their peak for color.
Exciting evening coming up. Here's hoping everybody stays calm - win or lose.

beautiful blue sky with breeze and 66°. That is almost the same as the temperature and weather conditions here. We have a few clouds and the thermometer at the back door says 68 F. A nice day that will probably turn into a rainy night. We are leaving for the Election Watch Night in a couple of hours. A friend sent this photo to me. It is in Spain, yesterday afternoon.

we had a very enjoyable evening...on our journey there on the motor way warning signs kept coming up that very bad weather was expected....and once off the motor way we wondered as we traveled miles of unlit lanes thought perhaps we had been foolish to travel...it bad weather did hit... got several Christmas pressies..including two very blingy peacock decorations to hang on the Christmas tree..one for daughter and one for nearly DIL[they do lurve a bit of spsrkle ]nearly bought a fur coat..but luckily they didn't have it in my size a brass band played..the heaters heated..all in all a jolly good night weather warnings all the way back home... this morning there snow lying about a hundred feet higher than we are but not quite as cold

I went to the ocean yesterday and enjoyed the awesomeness of God's creation.
On the way home I spent time at the Fisherman's memorial on the bay...I looked at the names and realized the majority had never been recovered and the greatest losses were in the 80's and 90's when the industry was still strong.

We keep thinking cooler weather is here to stay but after a couple of days it warms up again. I'm off work and on my way home in short sleeves - no jacket and totally comfortable.
One more day and then the weekend off. A lot of people are off work tomorrow for the federal holiday.
Sounds like you had fun, mouse. I haven't even started thinking about Christmas gifts yet. Maybe I should.
