Hang in there, mouse. The forecast here for the next 2 weeks is mostly clear but 10 to 20 degrees colder than it has been so far this winter. brrrrrrrrr
Finished with work until Monday! Now to get ready for the NY Open House. I doubt I'll go out NY Eve. Too cold, and I've been there, done that, enough that it doesn't seem important. Maybe a glass of wine as the ball drops in Time Square.

Two nights ago we had about 12 new inches of snow, but then this is winter and we’d expect to get snow here where we live. It took a little while to shovel it out of the way since we have about 250 feet of sidewalks, plus from the garage to the alley. Even with the little sun we have (its partly cloudy and being in the 30 degrees), it quickly began to melt off from the sidewalks and streets.
Now last night we had another 2 inches of snow and it is all shoveled up. It is in the mid 20 degrees and there may be additional snow flurries. Nothing special just a normal winter day. Haven't even had to start up the snow-blower.

Agreed, snow happens. May as well expect it and if it's fairly light and less than last year, rejoice! The kids here have a very good area adjoining one of the parks that's set up like a "snow park", with safe hills for sledding and snowball battles. They are probably hoping for snow. I'd be happy with only a little ... or less. My youngest is ill with bronchitis so I spent part of the afternoon getting her to the Dr. and picking up prescriptions. Glad she has her Z pack and can count on being over it soon. Hope she doesn't pass it along to me! It's New Years Eve already! Off for some sleep and then to see what the day brings.

Good morning everyone! Today is New Year's Eve! Indeed it is, Whose! How are you going to celebrate tonight? We'll probably have a few guests for the semi annual Talisman game and then watch the ball drop at midnight with toasts and cheers. Today is quite chilly but it looks like the sun is going to break up the cloud cover.

May 2016 bring a good year to all, especially those who have shared 2015 here on Gates of Babylon.
This has be one of the rougher years for many. Everyone has earned a smoother one just for surviving it.
Luv Annie
