Good morning everyone. My dad took my iPod Touch away from me for a week last night. Do not act on impulse. Stop and think FIRST. It will save you trouble and worry.

Cool and rainy. Our part of the Atlantic storm.
Big football game tonight: U of KY and a major rival, EKU.
Otherwise, not a lot going on.
Be back later.

The foundations were laid today - at last. 14 cubic metres in all or 2 lorries Great progress! Know it's a hassle but it will be worth it.

waiting for building work to be finished is one of the worst things..your home is not your own and the noise and grime..ughghghgh...but it will be worth it in the end the supper and quiz last night was a resounding success...and guess whose team won the quiz smiley 1 of course modesty prevents me from naming names. .but each individual team member from table three received a very good bottle of wine each ..daughter was on another table so I gave her my wine as a consolation prize all terribly grey again after a really cold night....not at all pleasant

Sounds like you had a great evening, mouse. Doesn't surprise me your team won. We have hopes of a nice warm day today (via the forecast). The sun has just come out and it looks like a promise for one of those glorious blue and gold autumn days that pretty much define the season here.

I hope your Sunday has been nice, too. We have had a warm, sunny day in the 80s F. We have been out and about. Stopped for ice cream at the local parlor and sat out on their terrace for cones of butter pecan and raisin rum. Very pleasant.

horrid morning...grey and raining with a bit of a wind...eughghghg today will be a lasy day...with a book we cannot light the stove ..as some silly bird has managed to get under the chimney cowl and has fallen into the stack.....so we will have to wait until it either manages to get out of expires...so the radiators will have to be soul providers of warmth which is not quite the same or as cosy as the flickering flames of a real fire these rocks used to be part of an underwatwer coral reef...a close look and you can see sea shells embeded

I hope all of you have had a good Monday. Mine has been made up of appointments and a very little grocery shopping. I'm thinking on dropping Green Bean Delivery. Their quality is fine, their selection is okay but their prices are almost double Kroger's for the same things. For example, Karoger has excellent stew meat (cubed beerf) for 5. 58 per lb. while GBD has the same thing (locally produced but similar quality) for 8.52 per lb.. If I had a small household, that would be doable, but sometimes I think we feed 'way more than our fair shre, so, I'm considering. May drop them after next week, though the produce is a delight.
