The distance between cars would be to be for taking the pic without rear-ending in case of a sudden slow down or stop.

oh my word..what winds we are having..it woke me several times during the night...and sitting here I can hear its crashing through the trees and around the house...its coming from every direction all at once every now and then the rain comes as well..almost horizontal at times even the most solid of trees are swaying..with branches buffeted about....the forcast is an other couple of days like this...not pleasant this house like others of its type is usually a very warm house..being thick solid stone walls...but in this type of weather some how the warmth leaches out inspite of well insulated roofs and tightfitting doors and windows and plenty of heating...never mind..the wind will eventually blow its self out..and then we can get back to being cosy

Good wishes spring will find you, mouse. We drove around a curve this morning and right into it, sun with trees all budded out and now it is almost 60 degrees F and a beautiful day. Daughter will arrive at my house around noon to help start the spring housecleaning. Then, tomorrow, I'll have help from the cleaning woman who always swoops in before easter and after Halloween to set things righ. Everything is on time as March goes out like a lamb and April is here. May you all have the week you want as soon as the wind settles down.

I have a feeling we don't look a whole lot like LA but concrete is concrete no matter where we go. The roadsides are a lot prettier here in sring summer and fall than winter, though.
