Good morning from a dark and chilly Chiswick. It's not that many days ago that it was bright, sunny and warm at 5 am.

Thank you, Sugi. That's just entirely strange! I think it's fixed.

Lovely day here weather wise. Hubby got the ok from the hospital he has recovered from his 2 operations well. We went into the front garden and did some pruning and now just out on my walk. Have a lovely day.

Just rounding Cabo Villano - or Cape Finisterre, for those who don't haber EspaƱol... Weather and visibility good - although there's a whopper of a depression building out to the west, which is being kept away from the British Isles by a big area of high pressure - the one which is rendering all our expensive wind turbines impotent...

it's mostly called optimism. i'd like to prognosticate that oregon will be the national champs (Scribbling note to other half) IF you must put the money on something, put it on Oregon this year!!!!! Thank you, Jim. at least, if the season ended today, oregon would be number one. hopefully, they'll stay there, but, that's hard to do. they will pretty much have to run the table. all round, i think they have the best team in the country, but, most of the sportwriters are on the east coast. you're welcome, but, in the event that he loses the money, i only made the suggestion. i didn't grab his arm and pull it to the bookie

Morning all
Absolutely flying along here - OK, we're now in tidal waters, but presently doing 15.9 knots over the ground.
Presently some 44 miles WSW of Ushant. ETA Wandelaar now 12/1130LT (Z+2), depending on tides in the English Channel & at Dover in particular.

Thanks for that Weather is good - but as you can imagine, with preparing for our LNG trials we're very busy here. Also bracing ourselves for all the office wallahs coming down for a visit during our stay in Zeebrugge - doubtless getting in our way whilst we're trying to get everything sorted out
