Good night, America.

That was dogwood winter, here. If this isn't blackberry winter, then we're in for another cold/cool snap at the end of the month. Busy days with graduation on the agenda. i wouldn't mind it. we've had a great week, in the sixties. today is the last good day, at 72 for four days. wednesday and thursday, we're supposed to hit ninety

For the next 2 to 3 days, we'll be going through a conversion process necessary to change the forum name and add a custom domain. Since we've never done this before, we really don't know what to expect, time-wise, but hope to be finished in a timely way, no later than Wednesday.
The activity here will go on as usual. You'll receive an email with the new URL so watch for it.
Our new name will be Gates of Babylon. There are quite a few themes already made up or renamed. Some of our older themes are on hold for the time being. If you find a favorite is missing from the line up, tell us and we'll see if it can be restored.
The actual change over will be on Tuesday. ProBoards will keep both our current address and the new one, active, for two weeks. Then, "Jen's Tapestry", our much-loved beginning site, will be retired.
Please do feel free to ask any questions. We'll post a copy of the members notification, here, for any who wish to use it for reference.
Here are high hopes all will go smoothly.
best to all Beth

Kitty needs help. Call the Fire Department! It sounds like a fine change over, Beth. Thank you for the alert. I am using my favorite of the moment, Cathedral, this morning. It looks stunning with the new name.

Thank you, Jessie. As part of our changes, we are also doing a bit of pruning and housekeeping this week. We're especially trying to create a selection of topics that will allow for easier navigation and a less jumbled appearance. All changes are tentative. Nothing has been thrown out and is still here ... just tucked away, out of sight, at least for the time being. All decisions are mine and Fret's so if you are in doubt ... blame us. This Daily will also be moved but we wanted to give notice on it first. Starting tomorrow or so, The Daily Thread can be found in the Chat and Play category in the lower part of the main page. Hope this works out well for everyone. Thank you for your patience. After this week, we can all settle back and get ready for a nice summer.

It's a beautiful sunny morning here in Chiswick. My raised veggie patch is coming on a treat. I'll get my grandson to take some photo's and try to let you see them.

Good morning, Who. That would be grand for the gardening thread! We have flower pics but no veggies so far (at least I don't think so). Hope your Tuesday's a good'un.
