I remember back in 1971, there was an Englishman named Mick who lived in Portland, OR....one day a group of us were together tubing down a river and Mick mentioned he "was going to knock up" his neighbor cause she was pretty!!! We all had a good laugh and realized how words can be used so differently in another country

;D The one on the door of the cathedral is a copy - attempts to steal it are a regular event, sadly

I am going to assume a "knocker" is the metal thing on a door that you knock with rather than a boob. A COMPUTER firm has developed a new chip that can store and play music in women's boobs. The iBoob will cost from £499 to £699, depending on speaker size. This is considered to be a major breathrough, because women have always complained about men staring at their boobs and not listening to them.

A Lesson in Irony. The Food Stamp Program, administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, is proud to be distributing this year the greatest amount of free Meals and Food Stamps ever, to 46 million people.
Meanwhile, the National Park Service, administered by the U.S. Department of the Interior, asks us "Please Do Not Feed the Animals." Their stated reason for the policy is because "The animals will grow dependent on handouts and will not learn to take care of themselves." Thus ends today's lesson in irony.
