I have a long list of guitar heros. Who are some of yours?
Beautiful song, and Stevie at his peak.

Well i suppose iv'e got to nominate this bloke. An ex girlfriend knew him personally for years, and when he went through his bad period, she used to drive him to gigs when he joined the Splinter Group. By then, sometimes he was on song, sometimes he was aweful. Last i heard, the leader of The Splinter Group was being taken to court for ripping him off. Indeed he made little money from the tunes he wrote. He also gave away most of his money. An oddball, but as BB King and Eric Clapton amongst others have stated, the best guitarist. Peter Green of Fleetwood Mac.

Long intro, but as they say, worth the wait.
Mountain Time
West on 80, won’t take too long, road starts climbing up to mountain time. A girl I know there, lives free and easy, Shows me wonders as she takes my mind.
Been like you babe, I wanna be there, settle on up about my life. Girl is waiting, she won’t wait too long, Drive all night to that clear blue sky.
And she’s wild as eagles, She’s as sweet as honeysuckle, Her life flowing like a mountain stream. And she takes me somewhere, And it’s good to be there, And she pulls me into her bright golden wing.
Bright golden wing…

Feel the wind blow, feel the love flow. And l'll be there when the morning comes.
Eiaaaaaa.....

Mick Mars, lead guitarist for Mötley Crüe has a condition called ankylosing spondylitis, a chronic, inflammatory form of arthritis that mainly affects the spine and pelvis. It was initially diagnosed when he was 17 years old, and has increasingly impaired his movement and has caused him a great deal of pain. This led to hip-replacement surgery at the end of 2004. Over the years, the illness has caused his lower spine to seize up and freeze completely solid, causing scoliosis in his back and squashing him further down and forward until he was a full three inches shorter than was in high school.
Since he can't move his neck, this gives him an odd, and almost spooky appearance. The tattoos and the hat don't help. I like the way he plays in this video.
