Is the reason they ended the trial because they were losing customers? I'm certain it will have been just that - mind you, it might be worth observing what's being disposed of 'round the back' of these places - halal chicken packaging would be a big giveaway

Is the reason they ended the trial because they were losing customers? Actually the EDL have been campaigning outside many KFC shops. I know that one up North, i think it was Blackburn, reverted away from halal. Might be this one, might not.

It's absolutely right that people should know if they're eating halal or not.
Many shops do openly label themselves as halal but the problem is that it hasn't been universal.
Now it is and people, just as with any other aspect of food they don't like, have a choice.
About time too!
