another good thread, Lin - nice songs there; dusty, cry me a river, alison moyet. enjoyed listening to Debbie Harry on desert island discs today. nina simone singing 'strange fruit' was a good one and this i liked - not heard it before Fever Ray another excellent female vocalist around that time was Chrissy Hynde. hard to choose just one (for now) for some reason it won't embed.
