The December 2018 thread is now open for all to use.
It's a nippy 45 degrees F in the greater Ohio River Valley with a warming trend set to take us to 60 F later today.
Have a happy weekend!

Lovely calendar, Sysop3. Dohn't know the language but that's cool. The rest of it is grand.
Mild, in then 50s, here today. High temp, 61. We spent time outdoors til it started to rain.

High hopes for a good week. just out of interest in regards to unusual spelling ….some air line employees had to apologise to a mother for laughing at her daughters name the child is called....ABCDE Pronounced according the the mother as Ab-city.... just how the ..ity.. comes into it is any ones guessbecause try as I may I cannot get Cde to sound like c-ity….. it could have been worse the mother could have called her abcs which translates as Abces Name shaming? This Texas woman claims a @southwestair agent made fun of her 5-year-old daughter's name as they were preparing to board their flight at @johnwayneair in Orange County. Her daughter's name is Abcde (pronounced Ab-city). @abc7

The last green leaves have turned brown except for the ones that don't change and nowl their falling. That means this coming weekend will be a time for raking and applying the leaf blower. A lot of people have already started putting up Xmas decorations but we wait til mid-month, then leave them up til around mid-January.

I have spent the day with my daughter. She came over after lunch and we have baked Xmas Cookies and made fudge with a few stops for running out to pick up more supplies.
A very nice day. I expect we'll do it again before Xmas.
