Good for you, mouse. That will put you in a good humor for sure. Who knows, maybe the sun will come out later and make your day.

Who knows, maybe the sun will come out later and make your day. no such luck.. the fine weather has well and truly gone.. and now we are promised dropping temps.. snow.. hail and icy winds but I did buy 5 plants but will keep them sheltered for a few days before planting... just to get them aclimatised

It isn't pleasant here today, either. Not cold but a kind of rainy day chill in the 50s F. The flowering trees are starti9ng to bud out and should be in bloom by the weekend.
Tomorrow is more of the same, a drippy, wet, rainy day.

cold grey and damp and set to remain so for at least another two weeks according to the forcast
I have my hearing appoint ment this afternoon... to see at what strength I need a new device ... I haven't had a working aid for nearly 6weeks or soso conversation has been a trial and a half.. luckily I can lip read a little... but that is no help when some one has their back to you .. I am far deafer now than I admit to being ..so some times I just say yes if I think that is the required answer..lordy its caused some merriment at times seems daughter said as a joke ""are you buying me a new car""....I thought she said something about cardigans and said"" yes the blue one"""needless to say they she and sons all roared with laughter and I didn't have a clue why a blue cardigan was so amusing

cold grey but not raining and not wet.. so with a bit of luck the new plants can be put in this afternoon yesterday we finally found some one who will go onto the roof and put on a bird proof cowl on the chimney ...birds keep falling into the chimney and then cannot get out and we can hear them squeaking and fluttering inside the chimney and its not pleasant .. so it means we cannot sit in the sitting room until the bird has died.... trouble is as soon as one expires another one falls in ... we did have a cowl on but think a mix of stormy weather and being pecked at by the said birds sent it whirling away in the winter winds
seems I do need a much stronger hearing device and for both ears.. youkkkkkkk..

its...... Louis Arthur Charles.....Lou-I in English rather than the French Lou-ee
not to be mistaken with ..lewis.. which is both an island and a fore and sur name
How do you pronounce the name Louis? Louis is pronounced Lou-ee, rather than Lew-is. This is because the name is French and therefore the ‘s’ at the end is dropped.

Me to daughter in reference to a broken vase - "You may as well throw that in the trash; it's just a hazard now.
An out-of-body voice floating up from my desk top - "You haven't given me enough information. Try again."
Me - "Alexa I was not speaking to you."
Voice - "Oh, I thought I heard my name ... sorry."
:/
