Back to normal. Partly sun, part clouds. Lows in the 40s F, highs in the 50s. Just like last week didn't happen.
lol A drown just flew by. Too big to be a personal, might have been Amazon. Cool

Well, it did, indeed, get into the 60s F, today. Roman spring. I have a vicious little head cold that won't go away so I'm making an early night of it in hopes that will help. Nothing much going on except the mud slides in CA. The fires apparently burned away the vegetation that usually kept these at bay. More than a dozen people killed so far. . Hope for better news tomorrow!

One more thing.
I see we have a full compliment of spammers hanging out in the guest room tonight.
You guys are wasting your time. If you should get in a post trying to sell us kitchen units or closet doors or cabinet knobs, etc., the admins will take them down first thing tomorrow. If your traffic gets too heavy, YT will put up another cloud and carry you away ... far away.
So ...
go find another spot for your advertising. We are an ad free board.
Sincerely, Beth, admin

The weather is very nice for January with some clouds and mostly sun. There is a light breeze but not cold at all. A German chocolate cake is baking in the oven and 2 grandchildren will be spending the afternoon with us while my daughter has a dental appointment. Would that all days were so fine.

Sincerely, Beth, admin You folks must be doing a good job Beth because I never see them. I do get telephone calls of such trash and that is when I begin my spiel of, "have you talked with God lately?" They hang up pretty quickly. If they are trying to sell a known product or service I'll send a letter to that organization and tell them that I will never purchase what they are selling and will tell all I know that they are not ethical.

ProBoards is usually on top of it with the clouds (Google, not YT). Since we are ad-free, we are charged (PBs) for every page hit we get from guests and spammers. We're happy to pay out a little for the guests and members, but spammers come in swarms and it's too much for no return. Looks like they took my advice and scattered ... at least for the time being.

We have snow, we have ice, we have temps forecast to dip into single digits again this weekend and into the coming week. In other words - we have winter. I have a worse cold now and the headache that goes with it. The roman spring was too short! Snuggle in (or not, depending on where you're located) and enjoy the weekend as much as possible. Mine is sure to include a warm house, good foo0d and TV sports.

dark and very dreary.. but dry.. almost feels like snow We have about 2 inches with an under-layer of ice. I haven't heard a single car go by this a.m.. Of course, I'm not on the main thoroughfare, but it seems silent and strange. The whole neighborhood seems to have parked the cars and chosen to remain indoors this morning.

I had a late work shift today so husband, daughter and i went sledding this morning. First time this year. One of daughter's friends and Dad joined us. I have a day off tomorrow, so we might try it again.
Have a happy weekend!
