In NYC, people are going berserk. We're raiding Trump Tower as if it was the Bastille. Stay tuned... Losers taking to the streets, smashing, fighting and screaming, just what happens the world over. It won't come to anything. Just people trying to find an outlet for their frustrations. I, and everyone I've spoken to in RT this morning, think the country will come to regret the Trump experiment. I hope that's not the case.

We're not "losers' (it is our right to protest,) nobody is smashing anything, and Donald Trump in unqualified to be President of the United States. We're not backing down. Protesting, not smashing anything but burning orange-haired effigies of Trump. Accept the result, he may well turn out to be the best President you've had for eight years. It's okay to vent ... get it out of their systems. I suspect he's bad news but hope I'm being pessimistic. Frankly, I'm more concerned about the GOP heavy Congress and SCOTUS. Cliche wise ... time will tell.

From where I sit, it's been a pretty even, 2 sided argument, Joe. It's been more attacking the candidates, but not indulging in personal attack here. Are you all out of control now, or do you think you can be a satisfied winner without the personal crap? When do I make things personal? I'm no saint, but there's no one here important enough to me to go after with personal invective. Not that I mind when other people are doing the dozens to each other. I find it highly entertaining. You folks were very smug for so long. It's fun to watch the lefties convulse with indignation. It would be even more fun to track their mass exodus to Canada and Europe.

I think basically Hillary failed to provide enough entertainment to the people of the USA. An election is like watching TV, if what is on offer is not interesting enough you switch to a different channel. Hillary was basically offing nothing new, just repeats from the the Bill Clinton era. As a politician she is not very good, she is not a great speaker and is rather uninspiring, she is not a conviction politician rather a career politician (same as many politicians). She had the support of great speakers such as Bill and Obama they only her look poor in comparison, I think she failed to inspire enough people to get out and vote for her. Hi Kronks, Hillary was due to win until they found more emails, which in the end led to nothing. As voters were already voting during that time, the situation changed too late and Donald Trump made hay whilst the sun was shining. He would have lost had that not happened. Yes I'd say that likely was the case, rather unfortunate for her but then if she had been doing things properly that issue would not have arrived. It is a divided nation as it stands the votes were split 50/50 and she actually got slightly more votes over all, however most elections tend to divide the nation under the first past the post voting system.

It was more like everybody was kind of frantic with concern this would happen. sheeesh I think you've felt oppressed so long you're off the ground with joy. Personally, I think this strange outcome is potentially dangerous, but since I wasn't all that optimistic about either candidate, I going to wait and see. Running late. Gotta go ... NOW. xo

Hi Chefmate51, Overall, Hillary got more votes than Donald, but the way the system works, Trump won.

Hi Josephdphillips, you might be laughing too early, if what Trump puts into action is anything that affects your life expectations, you mightn't find it so funny then.?

Hi Kronks, it wouldn't surprise me too much if egotistical Trump, falls flat on his face. He lied continually throughout in order to coralle the voters. Let's see what he can muster now, in a way that will 'make America great again'

They'll keep him propped up as long as he does their bidding. Bush II all over again except louder.

Let's see what he can muster now, in a way that will 'make America great again' Well they all make promises on the campaign trail, that is the easy bit. Hillary has a taken millions from big business and Wall Street so I expect they want something in return. Goldman Sachs paid Hillary $675,000 for three speeches. But it seems they got $2.9 billion of tax payers money. They were Hillary's biggest paymaster for speeches. Of course many others paid Hillary big sums for speeches, speeches which were essentially not worth a dime. Indeed her husband slept through one of her speeches!! So I would not trust her much either. I don't know if Trump wants money so much as to massage his bloated ego, but no doubt he would take any free money on offer as well, he may not be as wealthy as he makes out he is.

He is used to having his own way, but maybe the fact that he is now President of the United States of America the highest position in the country, that fact might be enough for him with his inflated ego? so he might be willing to go along with their advice instead of him calling the shots as he normally does. Who knows?

Hi Kronks, If they make promises the candidates are under an obligation to keep their promises or answer to the American public. What do you think?

Who knows? Not sure, Lassie .. he's very vain. If they stroke his ego enough they might be able to control him. It might be a little hard to use force because of his family and entourage. Not impossible though, if they convinced the family it would be for his own good. Rumor had it, They (the "they" at the time) kept Martha Mitchell tied up and drugged in a hotel room for days. Of course John went along with it which must have been helpful.

Hi Beth, Is John Trump's son? the only thing I know about Trump is the show where he says " you're fired." and ofcourse the Miss Universe show plus his marriages and divorces, I knew nothing about his behaviour onboard the Paedophile's plane until it came to light because of Prince Andrew being implicated.
