lol Yes, I got that impression. Both worthy topics, I'm sure. It was obvious they'd been at it on previous occasions.

It's cooler today with low humidity. Mama Nature is being generous.
Home from work already. People at my workplace this morning were mostly just interested in getting the long weekend started. A few things had to be done ... some loose ends tied up, but otherwise, Independence Day weekend has begun. I heard a line of fire-crackers about 10 minutes ago. lol
Need to get things squared away here. Back later.

Having another short break - me and Mike and the kids are leaving at 6 a.m on Friday to go to North Wales. We'll be back on Monday evening - maybe very late afternoon if we're lucky.
Sorry about neglecting the poetry till Monday evening!

Chefmate, I would think a small town would have a parade and fireworks on the 4th. Most of them do.
It is raining here. Maybe it will get over with and clear for tomorrow.
Mouse, you'll be happier stuck on the home side of the roads, than beyond them, unable to get home. Look at it that way and it will not seem so bad.
Thank you Ms Who and Sugi for the pics I always look forward to..

and a happy 4th of July to all of you over the pond

does anyone ever dream and in your dream you are experiencing what is actually happening in real time but you don't wake up but know something is wrong?
I have sleep apnea and sometimes I fall asleep during the day without the cpap mask on and when I dream, I'm out of breath in my dream but can't understand why this is happening. It is all due to the fact, without my cpap, I am having apnea episodes of struggling for breath which translates into my dreams.

to everyone who is celebrating. Hope all those who are celebrating are having a lovely day. Sunny day here today, went to the beach for a walk then we went to the Op Shops and got some designer shirts for Hubby. They cost all of $6 each. Not a sign of wear and tear. Pizza for dinner so been a rather lazy day yet again.
